Our Impact: Helping Immigrant Small Businesses Survive Covid-19

In the early days of COVID-19, Renaissance created an Emergency Small Business Relief Loan Fund to help our devastated immigrant small businesses survive the worst economic disaster for New York City since 9/11. From March through October, we closed more than 150 loans and helped many other business owners apply for federal assistance through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Meet two of our businesses who benefited from the fund — Leandra Requena of Cabrera Boutique in Jackson Heights and Gary Lin of Kyu Ramen in Flushing, Queens.
